Charles Huff has been making television programmes for many years. He produced several series of The Great Egg Race (BBC2 with repeats on BBC1) which was an eccentric competition, often shot in unusual locations, in which members of the public had to make strange machines. He also produced and directed many programmes in the BBC's Science and Features department including QED, The Risk Business, Medical Express, Tomorrow's World. During his time at the BBC he was twice nominated for BAFTA awards. Charles left the BBC to co-found a video and multimedia production company which specialised in making scientific and medical programmes, mainly for the pharmaceutical industry. Many of the programmes he has made have won awards in film and video competitions. He has made programmes for both the BBC and ITV including producing and directing a documentary The Battle of Jutland for the ITV network. |
