Charles Huff
has been making television programmes for many years.
He produced several series of The Great Egg Race (BBC2 with repeats on BBC1)
which was an eccentric competition, often shot in unusual locations, in
which members of the public had to make strange machines. He also produced
and directed many programmes in the BBC's Science and Features department
including QED, The Risk Business, Medical Express, Tomorrow's World. During
his time at the BBC he was twice nominated for BAFTA awards.
Charles left the BBC to co-found a video and multimedia production company
which specialised in making scientific and medical programmes, mainly for
the pharmaceutical industry. Many of the programmes he has made have won
awards in film and video competitions.
He has made programmes for both the BBC and ITV including producing and
directing a documentary The Battle of Jutland for the ITV network.
Peter Jones
has
an extensive business background and practical experience of handling
major projects at an international level.
His media experience was with Reed Exhibitions where he had global board
responsibility for the international department of the world's leading
trade show organisation. During this time he has travelled widely in the
developed and developing world where he has set up an enviable network
of media contacts. Before this he spent over 15 years in international
marketing and general management roles in companies like Procter & Gamble,
Diageo and Colgate Palmolive.
He understands the nature of working inside large organisations and has
a familiarity with a wide range of industry sectors in both Business to
Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) marketplaces.
Peter has a strong interest in cross-cultural business effectiveness and
has a good working knowledge of French and German.
Hugh Garai
Hugh is a skilled and respected instructional designer, content author, developer and editor of e-learning and open learning materials across a wide range of fields including technical and 'soft-skills' areas. Highly self-motivated and successful in seeing tasks through to their completion, he works effectively both in teams and solo.
In the last 20 years Hugh has worked as an instructional designer and project manager on many large projects for a range of clients including blue-chip commercial organisations as well as a number of professional institutes involved with the design, development and publication of qualification materials for their students. Hugh is the author of the Gower Management Handbook Managing Information and has written a number of journal articles on a variety of subjects.
